Motorcycle Accident in December
In early December Adams responded to a motorcycle accident on Nash Road. This type of call is rare and may have been a first seeing as how there is usually snow and ice on the ground this time of year. Due to the nice weather though motorcycles are still out. Everyone in the accident was ok and did not require to go to the hospital.
Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot
Continuing Thanksgiving Day tradition Adams attended the Turkey Trot race in one of our local neighborhoods. A few of us braved the elements and ran the race with the local racers. Thank you to all that invited us and to all that donated.
Fire with St Johnsburg 11/13
On 11/13 Adams responded mutual aid to St Johnsburg for a report of a house on fire. St Johnsburg and Police extinguished a small fire on the side of the house which damaged the side of the house. Niagara County Cause and origin responded to investigate the fire.
Fire Prevention 2015
During fire prevention week 2015 Adams visited multiple facilities around our district to educate about fire prevention. Along with St Johnsburg we assisted with fire prevention day at Errick Road School. Fire prevention and open house at our hall was a success and we look forward to doing it again next year
Accident at Niagara Falls Blvd and Knoll
On 9/8 Adams responded to a T bone motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Niagara Falls Blvd and Knoll Drive. No injuries were sustained but heavy damage was caused to each vehicle.
Adams receives second Federal grant within a month
The Adams Volunteer Fire Company of North Tonawanda was awarded a $144,760 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Program, Rep. Chris Collins, R-Clarence, announced Wednesday.
Fire Chief Don Lauer said the fire company headquartered on Nash Road will use the federal funds to acquire new volunteers to meet its goal of protecting public safety.”
Adams Softball team wins second place
Adams softball team took second place in the Niagara County Volunteer Fireman's Softball league this year. Adams was the defending champions but lost in the final game this year.

Car Motorcycle accident on Lockport Avenue
On August 5th Adams responded to car motorcycle accident at the intersection of Arnold Drive and Lockport Avenue. The operator of the motorcycle was Mercy Flighted to ECMC from injuries related to the crash as a precaution. No life threatening injuries were sustained.
Weekly Drill with help from the neighborhood
For one of June's fire drill's Adams went into a local neighborhood to do evolutions with flowing water from the pumpers. During the drill we got some help from some of the neighbors and maybe some future fireman. Thanks for the help guys and hope to see you again.
Multiple accidents on Shawnee Road in May and June
May and June have been busy months for Adams on Shawnee Road between Niagara Falls Blvd and Moyer Road. There were multiple calls for injury accidents during these months. With the summer months coming we urge you to drive safely through that sections of Shawnee Road and all other roads.
Adams 91st Installation Dinner
On April 18th 2015 Adams held its annual installation dinner of officers. The event was the first event at the new Alder Creek Banquet Facility through the Grapevine. Highlights included the installation of all officers of the Adams Fire Company and the recognition of fifty year members Thomas Sell and Robert Weigand. More information to follow.

Multiple garage fire on Niagara Falls Blvd (4/16/15)
On 4/16/15 Adams and St Johnsburg were dispatched to multiple garages on fire in the 3300 block of Niagara Falls Blvd. Dispatch reported that two houses were exposed to the fire. Upon arrival Adams and St Johnsburg found two fully involved garages on fire and the fire was rapidly spreading. Fire crews were able to save both houses and extinguish the fire. Bergholz, Shawnee, and Frontier also assisted at the fire. Both garages were a loss, minimal damage was reported to the exposed houses, and no one was injured on scene. Thanks to all that have forwarded us photos of the fire.
Retired 1E1 finds new home in Dominican Republic (April 2015)
As mentioned previously on the site Adams old 1E1 was donated to the Dominican Republic through Brothers without Borders. Over the past few months members of Adams have taken time out of their lives to go down and train individuals on the truck. Below are a few pictures of the guys in the Dominican Republic with the truck in its new home.
Car vs tree Motor Vehicle Accident (3/28/15)
On March 28th at approximately 9:00AM Adams responded to a report of a car vs tree injury accident on Shawnee Road. The vehicle was traveling South on Shawnee Road when it went off the road and struck the tree head on. Fortunately, the operator had minor injuries from the accident.
Two car Accident on Shawnee Road (2/3/15)
Adams responded for a two car head on injury accident on Shawnee Road near Niagara Falls Blvd. All involved were transported to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
